Egyptian Tarot

EX-14
Pietro Alligo and Silvana Alasia, Artwork by Silvana Alasia

Painted in tempera on papyrus, these cards were partially inspired by the Tarot created by the famous occultist Jean-Baptiste Pitois in 1870. According to Pitois, the Tarot came from the legendary Book of Thoth, a knowledgeable book which held all of the mysteries of Egyptian magic. (78 cards - 66x120 mm. with instructions)

Tarot uses cards forming a series of transformative images whose origins are rooted in Western mystic tradition. Through these images, one may draw forth information from the unconscious, illuminating and clarifying the profound meaning of the moment in question.
