Esoteric Ancient Tarot

EX-12
Etteilla - Paris 1870

The Tarot created by Jean François Alliette, known in esoteric circles as Etteilla, was the origin of the cartomantic tradition at the end of the eighteenth century. Derived from the Egyptian myth of the Book of Thoth, these cards were redesigned and renumbered according to the principles of hermetic philosophy. Each tarot has divinatory meanings dictated by Etteilla, “the divine cartomant”. (78 cards - 66x120 mm. with instructions)

Tarot uses cards forming a series of transformative images whose origins are rooted in Western mystic tradition. Through these images, one may draw forth information from the unconscious, illuminating and clarifying the profound meaning of the moment in question.
